EvolutoS Mobile
Which servers does the phone contact, and why?
A modern phone contacts some network services even if you do not open any app: to know whether the Wi-Fi works, to keep the time right, to find your location faster. On a regular Android phone these services belong to Google.
Current situation
In the first versions of EvolutoS Mobile these services still use the servers of the GrapheneOS project, on which the system is based: in Settings they appear as "GrapheneOS server" or "GrapheneOS proxy".
When they move to the EvolutoS servers you will find it in the release notes, and this page will describe, service by service, what our servers receive.
